Anne Frank is a very inspirational person. The book is very relatable and shows great detail of World War 2. Anne Frank says that nature can help anyone. I agree with anne and think Natures beauty can possibly be very helpful to people facing struggles in their life. Looking at nature could be a great way to take a break from the rest of the world and forget about the real world.

About the Sapling Project Virtual Tree

Anne Frank drew solace and inspiration from looking out the attic window at the chestnut tree growing behind the Secret Annex. Share your voice alongside Anne’s by leaving a leaf here on the Sapling Project Virtual Tree.

In my school we have been reading the Diary of Anne Frank. It is such an inspirational story that makes you think about how lucky most of us are to live freely. For those of us in the world who don't have freedom we must fight for them, seek whats right. We should not see only our differences, but our similarities!

Anne Frank had a lot of hard times in her life due to the holocaust and the tree was a symbol of peace, strength, and beauty to her. It was a sign that even though she might have been feeling upset about the war there was still the beauty of nature in the world.

I think the tree is Anne's one symbol of peace during the horrific war, and the tree was experiencing the same things as Anne because the tree was living throughout the war. I think Anne saw hope from the tree because if a tree can last a war then so could she. This tree brought comfort to her while she was in hiding.

Today in the world a very similar thing is happening. in the 1940's it was Jews, and today it is Muslims. Anne Frank has a very inspirational and important story about the struggles of practicing her religion. The holocaust affected millions of lives and counting. I believe that remembering the horrors of the holocaust can prevent discrimination and make the world a better place.
