Boston Common – Sapling Planting Ceremony

Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino will host the public unveiling of Anne’s tree sapling in the historic Boston Common on Tuesday June 4, 2013. The event is open to the public and will feature a ceremonial planting of the sapling, as well as a few words by Mayor Menino. The morning’s ceremony will be followed later in the evening by the Confronting Intolerance Today event held at the Copley Square Branch of the Boston Public Library.

When: Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.
Where: Boston Common, near the Earl Sandwich food vendor on the “Mayor’s Walk”
